From a movie goer perspective, no there is no reason in hell to remake that movie. It is perfect 80's cheese which is good.

But from their perspective it's a perfect remake candidate, because today's kids probably never even heard of it and it will be brand new to them.

Hollywood will remake anything - it's generational. Though I'm no fan of Teen Wolf anyway, nor the awful Red Dawn.

I won't be going anywhere near either in the cinema so they can remake 'em if they really want to!

I have to honestly say, I am anticipating Red Dawn. There is a website up called www.reddawn2010.com and its a person with exclusive permission to take some behind the scenes footage of the filming of this movie. I have to say, it looks like its going to be a good popcorn movie IMO.

I've still never seen Red Dawn, so I'm not really interested in either version.

Red Dawn was the GOPs version of events back in the 80s if the US didnt stand up to those pesky Russians. It is totally full of bad cliches but its still a great popcorn movie so long as you dont expect it to be more than it was meant to be.
