Yeah, that's a big arcade stick! I have one for Street Fighter IV, but I'm sure it's nowhere near that big.

Ah, the halcyon days of the coin-op arcades....alas they are a dying breed thanks to the wondrous advances in home video game consoles.

I remember back in the days of the Atari 2600, to get a game based on an arcade game was a real treat, even though graphically the arcade versions were rarely, if ever, matched. Berzerk was probably the closest to arcade perfect translation ever done for the 2600. Later models, like the 5200 and the 7800 got closer to the mark....

....then along came ColecoVision, and it just about nailed home arcade translations to perfection.

It's been a lot of fun over the years watching video games evolve.

In my 40 years on this Earth, I've owned

Atari 2600

Atari 800XL computer with all the trimmings (modem, printer, disc drive, tape drive, interface module)

Atari 800XE (console/computer hybrid)

Sega Master System

Atari Lynx (handheld system that could've blown the Nintendo GameBoy away if it had better support and marketing)
