Hillary isnt so bad, as far as it goes for someone in her position. Shes a politician through and through. But.... THIS was really stupid. The secret service could have gotten a $10,000 an hour 'escort' and they wouldnt have ever said a word.

Not letting kids trade stuff from their lunchboxes at school. If you've got an allergy, isn't it your responsibility to police your own actions?

Letting the local Jehovah's Witnesses get Halloween banned from your kid's school, even if the official reason is "Some kids can't afford costumes, and we don't want to lose the time for learning."

Acting like Tiger Woods is a role model for kids. He's a freaking golfer. Role models should be things like "Dad" or "Luke Skywalker" but not "Some guy whose DNA is tweaked just right so that he can hit a ball with a stick really well."

We are not allowed to sell fair trade chocolate once a week at school because chocolate is unhealthy.$ We can't even sell it to staff. However, a certain class (the class for the wee sods who can't behave) are allowed to sell candy canes for 3 weeks running up to Christmas!

Did you see the news snippet in the UK about the boy who got banned from school for a day for 'trading' packets of crisps in a school which had banned them totally as unhealthy?

Wow, Scotland seems to be hardcore health area. When I was in school, candies or alcohol were our favourite 10 o'clock break purchases that made us last through the next few hours.

I prefer income to sales taxes. You have more policy parameters and can achieve more public goals with the income than with any other tax system.
