Of course, how good/awful such a film is will depend on the script.
Does anyone else feel like the author of that news item has never watched the show? Hortas are villians? Really?! I thought the whole point of that episode was to show the critter as a caring, if desperate, mother to her species...

I'm not in favor of having Mudd as the villain. For a cameo or perhaps a minor character in the film, sure.

Forget Mudd and any other character resurrections.
How about something fresh and original? Even this new Trek was in many ways similar to Insurrection and Nemesis in story and ending. How about some genuine sci-fi instead of just another villian with a big ship and score to settle? |
