I think Kirk didn't know the meaning of "proffesional" he had an intresting "first contact" procedure....

That's from The Naked Time...canon is that Kirk understands that the bridge crew is off limits.

Well, Uhura did sit behind Kirk on the bridge.
And he did give her some "sexy" eyes every now and then

I always loved Uhura on the bridge...she was so strong and so soft and femine at the same time.
