Will there be any? Given that she is been played by the hottest actress in hollywood Kirk would have to be not fuctioning properly for there not to be. Also it would add to the team dynamic.

Wasn't there someone cast as Ruth for this movie? If so, I think that will be Kirk's love interest, and it'll be something like that he leaves her behind on the dock while shipping out on his mission.

Uhura will the hottest phone receptionist in the Galaxy, but that's pretty much all she'll be in this movie, IMO.

No 'shippers here in this movie, just non-stop action and adventure, I think (unless they're going for something between Uhura and Scotty again)...

Well, I only noticed romantic tension between Uhura and Scotty. And it was cute because it always stayed so innocent. I think they should keep it that way and keep Kirk doing what he did best, romance the beautiful guest Aliens and never let anybody tie him down.

Between Uhura and Scotty? That might be a nice idea. I liked it in the later films with TOS cast.

No, that would be unprofessional of Kirk....besides, if Uhura's jumping anyone on that bridge, it will be Spock. Think about it....she flirts with him endlessly, he's always picking her up when she gets thrown from her chair (yet again), in Charlie X she's all over him while singing a song about him and he smiles, she somehow gets custody of his Vulcan harp (or, he gives her one of her own...and maybe private lessons?) and next to Kirk, she's the one who seems most comfortable touching him.

Kirk most definitly needs to be getting some non human 'tang. I hope for women everywhere that Uhara is more then just a receptionist and sexual tension driver. It'd make me very sad and kinda betray the equality that Roddenberry held so dear.
