I love Star Trek but I think they should just let it sit in limbo for a while. The terminator franchise is done, they need to let it die.

I bought the 12" McCoy action figure and it's really nice. But I wouldn't have bought any of the accessories like the phaser and the communicator because they looked too much like... toys. They just looked cheap, especially the phaser.

I have a TOS communicator from DST and it's awesome. I remember bringing it along when I went to see the new ST movie for the premiere and all the guys around me were really impressed. I want the same kind of wow factor from the new ST items. I don't want toys, I want affordable replicas.

I don't doubt that Trek will be back in 2012, probably with a whole new slate of toys. Terminator won't and shouldn't be back...ever (unless Cameron would want to do it).

Yeah and then playmates will be in the same boat they're in now, making crappy toys and having to cancel future waves because the public votes by not buying the crap.
