Would I like this film because I am going tomorrow night to see it what did you think of the film?

I havent seen it but depends if all you want is total eye-candy action or instead something with substance. If you want the former you will enjoy it. At least, thats what I tend to see for reviews.

The answer to that is - it's a Roland Emmerich film.

Much like Micheal Bay - I personally think that alone answers the 'substance' question (there is none) so if his previous films were to anyone's taste there should be no problem with 2012.

If they were not, I wouldn't bother handing money over - it's not likely to work for them.

I had no idea it was 2 hours and 28 minutes long! It does have a lot of fx, but it has a great story behind it. Personally, I was on the edge of my seat the entire time! My wife loved it as much as I did. Very few movies I will go back and watch, this is one of them!

I still haven't seen it and it's looking less & less likely that I will. Definitely will give it a rent though.
