Was just poor planning when they made Nemesis. Sometimes that is what happens when you hand the reigns to writers and directors that haven't done a Star Trek story before. I'd love to see a remastered version of this movie where they replace that picture with a Picard with hair. Make it a little more in-sync with the series.

I think the explanation of losing a bet and having to shave his head would be the better one. Also, can anyone explain the difference in uniform? Are they both Academy uniforms or is one of them used for officers? That, to me, is even more confusing than the hair issue...

Well wasn't Picard assigned to a ship in "Tapestry?" So that uniform would be in line.

The one from Nemesis we've seen cadets wearing in other films.

Shaving the head would make sense, especially if he was a marathon runner. Some of the guys I know shave their heads for "Areodynamics" they say.....lol.

Exactly Eliza, nobody had probably ever obsessed over a movie or tv show before until Star Trek came about.

It was probably the Beta Max/VCR that led to these "canon fodder" (sorry for the ba pun) debates.

You know they have people that work with continuity on every single movie that makes sure there are no watches or odd jewerly in scenes that have issue with the arriaval of such things. Making it obvious that someone isn't doing there job...and when someone doesn't do there job and I think it's time for a firing.
