Default Finally going to start...

Well, I'm getting the first season of DS9 for Christmas. It will be the first I've seen of it, besides Trials and Tribble-ations and the one with Kor, Kang, and Koloth. I'm looking forward to giving it a shot!

I'm just finishing Season 2. Some of it is very good and most of the characters are the type of characters you can identify with. Let us know how you get on with it.

I'm sort of jealous, it will be all new to you guys! There is one series that I have never seen and that is The Animated Series, I plan on checking out Netflix to see if they have those.

They do have them. You could buy it if you have some spare cash. It's less than 20 bucks now at Wal-Mart. I wanna say it's 14...

Regardless, very good show and the animation helped to create some less humanoid species.

Cool, I'm not sure how I ever missed them originally, I don't remember ever seeing them on TV as a kid and I think I'm around the right age for when it was first out.

It was on NBC in 1973-74. My father says he had no clue about it at the time as well. It was kind of the forgotten series for many years it would seem. I didn't know of it's existence until 1995 (same goes for my dad) when we saw an article about Trek in a Guiness Book of World Records. lol

Ah, it's a little older than I thought. That explains it. I've heard about it before, but that explains why I didn't know about it as a kid. I was a baby.

I think the problem in my area was that a lot of people in these parts didn't get an NBC channel back then. They also didn't get ABC, so no 60s Batman either...

Must've been depressing...
