I think Star Trek XII is already the working title of the next movie in the same way Star Trek XI is the working title of this movie...but as I said earlier upstream, I doubt that this movie will be numbered at all and will take a Bond-ish approach to the titles.

I bet Abrams will stay on as producer for a at least a couple more Trek movies. This is a big Bad Robot property now

Berman was the boss of the entire franchise while Abrams was just hired to direct this one movie and after the success he will most likely direct another one or two. I doubt that he will have to do anything with a potential sixth series, so a more suitable comparison might be Abrams vs. Bennett.
