Rumor...Shatner in the Next Trek?
I hope this just a rumor! No time travel for the next Movie please!

I can't see it happening. They have already done the prime meets Nutrek with Spock. It would get boring to do it with kirk too. We want something new. They have the entire universe at their feet. Why waste that opportunity.

Not this again. Its never gonna happen, and it shouldn't. The handover was done already.
These movies need to stand on their own two feet. Also, hope they don't make it a cliffhanger, as hinted in one of the articles. Stand alone movies, loosely connected if need be. Nothing yells 'cash cow' to me more than a cliffhanger, which says, 'yeah we know you are going to cough up for this no matter what we churn out.'
