They smacked the wing of the shuttle on a bridge transporting Enterprise to the Intrepid museum. Minor cosmetic damage, nothing to serious.

I take it it will be on a floating platform adjacent and not ON the carrier?

I don't know what the exact plan is going to be

I just assumed it would be rather large and heavy to put on the flight deck, plus going by it's website, the Intrepid is pretty fully loaded already.

I do know that they moved three planes from the exhibit to another museum in Western New York state, so that would lead me to believe that it is actually going on the ship. It's big, it could fit it.
