The Mummy franchise to be rebooted...
I just read today that Universal is going to take the Mummy franchise to rebooting territory. With the disgrace of the third film, I am not surprised they are taking it in this direction. But then again, everything is rebooting these days.
This leads me to the polls. Which Mummy film is your favorite?

The first was great IMO, the second was fun but just a rehash of the first and yeah the third... disappointing.
Why do a reboot? Such a bad idea.

Because I guess like making a Spider-Man 4, the idea was scrapped.

Meh, I'm not overly set either way. The first two are fun enough but not sacred classics or anything. The third was legitimately terrible though.

I think of the first as a Classic.
They should leave it alone. Reboot is something said of something long standing and ever present...Power Rangers...Pokemon. Not ...The Mummy.
