I don't think it is necessarily the itty bitty details that made Trek (i.e. the direction characters look off to, the timing a a blink). You can allow Trek to be ruined if you concentrate on the little things.

First Contact was infact a big sucess, not just in star trek terms but in general movie terms, i would love to see star trek back up there. I think a lot of star treks problems is, and i know it sounds strange, George W bush. Now hes going things might look up across the world and we will have a bit more stability. Sorry for the politics lol

You should be sorry. Not just because that's a dumb thing to say but why raise divisive topics on a fun forum. or at least the section that should be more light on.

Not only is it strange, it makes absolutely no sense at all. That's like saying Jimmy Carter's cardigan caused Buck Rogers in the 25th Century.

"I have a cold today its all George Bush's fault. I fell and broke my leg its all the presidents fault." Im sick of whiney people blameing the president for every thing! The president is god. He's a person he has limited power. The Economy can only be fixed by the people! A majority of the problems people blame the president for (Not just meaning Bush I mean the position its self) the president doesn't have direct control over. Get off your lazy butts people and do something about what you see is wrong dont just whine. *Gets off the soapbox*

People cannot simply take a side of politics that suits their philosophy. They have to paint the opposing side as downright evil and dastardly with no higher intention than to screw over the masses.

There is a scientific and psychological explanation for why people think like that. It's called being 15.

Anyway lets keep this section of the forum to the subject for which it was really intended. Like how Jed and fawkes can make it into the movie.

and you NEVER go off topic Chirs.....lol...

Besides it's his right to veiw his ideas here, just like anyone. Does not mean anyone has to agree.

But freedom of ideas is what were all about man, so ease up a bit.
