Yes, but if YouTube didn't remove the link before it came to the attention of the owners of the copyright, that would be too late, wouldn't it?

You have to keep in mind that this board is the property of the people who own the copyright for Star Trek.

This is why I asked the question. I'd hate for the Closer Video of Kirk and Spock to come down because I linked to it. It's not exatly family friendly so I'm not linking it, but I've given you enough you can go find it easily. And it is one of the absolute best videos out there.
