Default Email your Trek buddies about this forum.
I am a bit surprised that after a few days the forum has only 5000 members given the huge worldwide fanbase.
I'll be emailing my friends and doing an anouncement on my facebook and a blog entry. Has anyone else done that or got other ideas?

5000? Where did you get that from? On the stats it says:

Threads: 225, Posts: 5,514, Members: 1,191, Active Members: 1,191

I think for only being online a few days that's pretty good. The place is already busier than anyone can keep up with and it will be hard to get to recognize regulars.

I think all my other trek buddies are here already. Yeah, don't have many trek fan friends in real life unfortunately.

I hear that. All my friends hate trek. I always say that they didnt give it a chance.
