Patrick Stewart went on record saying he doesn't want to do trek anymore, Frakes may be involved in some aspects of production, but other than that I don't think they'll be in it.

The action scenes in this movie can easily be deligated to the alternat TOS character, Picard was never suited for them anyway, he's more of a statesman and negotiator

i can't believe people want to see TNG characters in this film... unless there is a reason in the plot to include these characters, don't include them!

everyone saw what happened in the enterprise finale when they tried to include characters that aren't required...

i can't understand how anyone would like to see a whole movie ruined just to include O'Brien because he didn't get a go in a movie...

I think they are required to anchor the new crew into Star Trek Continuity and Open it up for some of the character out of TNG,DS9 and VOY to play a part in subsequent sequels
