It looks Ok to me. The size complies with the new guidelines and we have no problem with people mentioning their own sites in their sigs.

Thank you... I take it you're from Paramount. So I may use these banners on my site? It's not only about using them here but also using them in situ... So far I use a banner that doesn't show anything but text.

73151, copyrights shouldn't be a problem at all - you're not making any money off your posts. All sorts of Trek sites use copyrighted Star Trek imagery for their graphics and Paramount/CBS aren't sticklers about it - we're giving their property free promotion!
As long as you don't try to claim the images as your own (no need to say that it's from Paramount, Bethesda, etc either - we all know it), you should be in the clear.
