Yeah. The scene where Taggert goes into the men's room and there's a line of klingon-esque aliens at the urinals made me laugh... mostly because I had something similar happen to me at a con. Only in my case they were Star Wars stormtroopers.... (man, where's a camera when you really need one?)

I know a few fans like that too. Strangely, they all seem to be busily mapping the ships out on their computers via CAD.
I always loved Brandon guiding them through the air ducts... "There'll be a slight drop..." "Aaaaaaaaaaggghhhhh!"

I love this movie!!! I've never understood the kind of Trek fan who takes offence at it. It's clearly written by and for Trek fans, and is the one of the most witty and affectionate parodies that I've ever seen.
"I played Richard III... I was an actor once, damnit, now look at me. Look at me!!!" "Am I too late for Alexander's panic attack?" "But you live with your mother!" "Oh yes of course, it's always about you isn't it!" "I see you've managed to get your shirt off!" "Alright, dinner's at 7... Well he's outside..." Love the ...Khan parody with, "Perhaps I am not as stupid as I am ugly!" "I gave you the kill gesture!!!" "No, you gave me the "we're dead" signal; I was agreeing with you. Like I know where the 'hold' button is!" Getting the ship out of the spacedock is hilarious, too. ![]() Also, notice on Gwen's "Well, screw that!" line that the word 'screw' is dubbed in Post Production... |

Kwan and Liliari getting dirty with all those tentacles...
"Oh that's not right!" lol. Did anyone else notice that Liliari was played by the same person who played Violet Beauregarde's mum in Charlie and the Chocolate Factory?

That would be the incredibly wonderful Missi Pyle....She's just amazing.
I'm something of a huge fan of Charlie and the Chocolate Factory....would it be stupid to start a thread on it?

Missi Pyle! This generation's answer to Bettie Page! I love her! The whole bit in the limo with her "language translator" being broken is amazing. I wonder if she actually made those sounds, or if they were dubbed in later?
I'm with you Kuka... that scene made this movie for me! Just the look she give Tony Schaloob, when he realizes he's being held by tentacles... and she's got this "hope this is okay with you" expression on her face. Charming and deeply funny. I could watch that scene on a loop and still find it funny after 100 repeats... It just works on sooo many levels...
