This is a great video to help sway those who don't believe in doing anything about Global Warming. Help spread the word!

Somebody needs to teach this man the basics of the scientific method...
(*Wry Grin*) Not that I don't appreciate what he's TRYING to do... it's just that, when he approaches it with such an radically flawed proposition, it negates the overall impact. (Just as a 'little sample' the scene with four boxes, and 'smiley faces'...) At EITHER end of the spectrum, rather than a 'face', (smiley or otherwise), should have been the EXACT SAME results. 'Economic, social...etc.,', as his worst-case in Treated-as-false, revealed-as-true... by any basic tenets of logic, science, or - God help me - 'common' sense, go into that very first box, as well. An acid, of equal strength to a base, will cancel out. Applying an acid in assumption of a base that ISN'T THERE... and you get an acid JUST AS BAD as the original base... (Please note - I am making no statement, whatsoever, pro or con, about Global Warning, Environment Change, Man's Impact on Nature, or any other given topic you might wish to assume, hypothesize, or otherwise erroneously believe... I'm just pointing out that basic flaws within this video that negate any outcome he might be trying to validate. As such, I make a much better Devil's advocate... even minus the funny hat and hydrogen-filled balloons... *Grin*) Last edited by Gunny1 : 04-18-2008 at 03:57 PM. Like Grandma often said, "It is better to light one little candle than to curse the darkness." Thanks for the link, ditroi!
