Imagine my joy as I drove through my local village and saw... a little coffee shop in the old abandoned liquor store! I almost drove off the road. I got spoiled living in Seattle and Albany, but finally... a real latte! Sigh.

It's better than my last Village of the Damned - that one didn't even have a Chinese restaurant! Or any restaurant, for that matter!

The hubby and I decided we wanted to raise our kid in a rural environment, even if that meant no General Tsao's tofu on Fridays... but luckily, the yuppies have spread to this side of the Hudson, bringing with them Starbucks, Chinese food, and good dry cleaners.
