Got some of the episodes from S1&2 but not the whole thing. Many of the episodes I got are not very good, so not sure what to think of the initial seasons, really.

Got Season 6 on boxset. Don't know what to "recommend" but 6 is pretty cool.

...And S4 which was showing on the telly a little while back. Got some good ones as well.

Season 3 is when the series gets really good. Then for Christmas you can have season 4 and get the Best of Both Worlds I, II, and Family arc.

I concur...3 is definitely where I would start.
