I saw two trailers for the Star TreK XI, one of them said Coming Summer 2009 and other said December 2008, which one is it? Also does anyone know if the premises or Leonard Nimoy being in the film, will it be that we see him in the future thinking back in Academy days at his former captain's funeral i.e. just after Generations time? Or will be something else?

Summer 2009 is correct now.

Nimoy is in the film.

Nobody is sure.

I was so annoyed about it when i first heard i went out and bought Ben and Jerys Cookie Dough icecream anmd ate the whole lot.

Have they filmed it yet ? only i saw that Pegg said hes signed up for another two films and that he enjoyed making it .

They completed primary filming a few weeks ago. Just 2nd unit stuff now which someone elsewhere said would be completed this weekend?

2nd Unit Shooting means shots that don't require the main cast or J.J. or whomever to be there. Like scenic shots, shots with some extras, etc.
