If you can, check out a pub called "Barley's" It's located on High Street a couple of blocks north of the Arena District. It's across the street from the convention center. Nice selection of brews. Great place to go and everything else is within walking distance.

I have seen pictures of it actually, I would have preferred they kept the stadium as it was because it was the first soccer specific stadium in North America but I understand from a business stand point why they did it. Also the design is at least well thought out as it doesn't change on of the site lines in the stadium which is nice. I’ll keep that bar in mind. I'm not sure where we are going in the evening but I'm pretty sure the group has already picked a spot.

It was quite the trip I must say. I had a lot of fun despite the outcome and I look forward to doing it again. TFC has been apart of some big moments in MLS history and it’s been an honor to have been there for so many of them. This was just another one of more to come I'm sure. Here is a great article by Ben Knight who joined us for this historic trip and the bus he mentions in his article is the bus I was traveling on as well:

I personally don't care to much for that chant or the "Sub-prime mortgages!" one either as it has nothing to do with the game but no matter where you go in the world soccer and politics always seem to mix.
