I started it when it was made free to play, but lost interest after the first campaign.

I think I'm going to sell the game. I have it for PS3. Since the game is so crappy and has a 4.2 rating out of 10 according to IGN, how much would you sell it for?

Sell it for 10 bucks. It's an ok game, but definitely not worth the 60 it initially came out at.

You can get the game new now for around 20.

Saw it a few weeks ago for 10 EUR, and played the first two missions so far... I actually think it's not so bad!

I, Admiral Archer, approve of this message.

Did you guys know that Fallout 3 was almost an open world Star Trek game? I have a theory that the Mothership Zeta add-on mission was originally going to be the part of the game set aboard the starship level, while the main game would be on various planet's surfaces which you could visit. According to my theory, after Bethesda lost the license to do Star Trek games, they would have kept only the basic game map for the starship (leftover from what they had started basic work on) then totally redesigned it to be the Mothership Zeta, unrecognizable as a former Star Trek ship. The main game would have then been designed anew as the capital wasteland.

I haven't played it, sadly haven't heard much good about it though. I've always been of the opinion that the best Star Trek games were at the turn of the millennium with the Activation games.

Yes, Abrams himself felt that the release of Star Trek: The Video Game http://www.gamespot.com/articles/jj-.../1100-6414426/ hurt the the release of Into Darkness. Which would make sense since it did come out the same year as the game, albeit months later on. However, I don't think the success of the video game would help or damage the relesae of the film. A lot more people see movies see these days rather than play videogames. Though, I could be wrong of course. In either event, Into Darkness did better than Star Trek (2009)
