Default I decided to quit Trekmovie.com

That place is just getting incredibly hostile! Bob Orci and another long time poster quit, as did I seeing how incredibly rude people have become there. There's decent critique to give, but ripping into someone is just going too far. Anyways, I might as well start posting here from now on.

Don't blame you! The place is a hot bed of self-righteous prose. People are very quick to dump on you if your opinion differs from theirs. At least we all seem to know when to pull our heads on this site.

Although it's never entirely surprising the ever present factionalisation and entitlement complex of some fans still rears it's head from time to time. I never really posted over there though, just read through it from time to time.

Well, as the old saying goes, if you cannot stand the heat get out of the kitchen.

I only posted a few times at this site and after I learned what a total idiot and a*shole Orci is (complaining about critics is normal for a writer but mixing an ordinary complaint with some half-witted "the previous generation messed it up for us" and "critics wanna destroy my job" is stupid while rude comments about the health condition of the now deceased Mr. Ebert is utterly distasteful) I never did again. After all life is finite.
