Love you guys, keep up the chatter!
Glad to see the forum is fixed.
Ah, but you ARE one of the select few to get past the ropes! Anyone who made an account before the Mods left us in 2009 can post, but no new members seem to be able to post.

Thank you for joining us!

That doesn't seem right, considering the number of people posting. But be optimistic and believe that whatever you post is read and pondered by the masses.
Part of me says 'The counter is broken' (this thread alone is approaching 600), but another part says: Mwhahahahahaha! My thoughts are being seen by hundreds!

I suppose when you think about it nothing's really changed since 2009, after the first movie came out. There has only been a few regular posters.

FOUR years. Gosh. Five years since I joined...

This site was my entrance into the socially interactive side of the internet.

I posted the wrong number of views for the thread started June 1. I just went back and edited it. It should be 1,598, not 5,840 (the figure on the page one level above). My carelessness. Sorry.

But this thread has had a lot of views in short time, as already mentioned.

A couple of years ago the view counter was broken, and new threads showed the same numbers or views as replies for several months, until it was fixed.

Maybe when brought back it was set not to let new members post just because most new members to any forum that doesn't have a test as a part of sign-up are spammers, where the first and only post is usually advertising. I've seen that a lot. Some people have given up operating forums because of it, and it's a lot of work to deal with it.

But that doesn't really explain why a lot of the old members are no longer posting. I guess they've lost interest in this forum or don't even know it's back in operation.

Well, I think the Mods always had to approve new members, so when they left back in 2009 no new members ever posted again. I wouldn't be surprised if the old regular members haven't checked back here/lost interest.
