I always found the A to be the most fragile looking design, particularly the pylons but to a lesser degree the dorsal as well.

I think if the secondary hull of the Church design was just beefed up a little bit it would probably sort itself out in a few ways.

Well...we will just have to wait and see. I'm sure Abrams and his team heard the complaints.

They may have listened to the complaints but I would think a lot less of them if they pandered to them like a checklist. There's more important things than the ship in the scheme of things.

Nor should there be IMO. I think the "refit" cliche is one best left in the past. This is the ship. It should maintain it's look.

I agree. The look of the new Enterprise has been established. If any changes are to be made, they should be subtle. I think one of the changes that has been made, if I saw it correctly, was that they changed the nav deflector from glowing blue to copperish-golden like on the original ship. Could've been a lighting effect though.
