Default Happy 20th Birthday Deep Space Nine!

"To the best crew any captain ever had. This may be the last time we're all together. But no matter what the future holds, no matter how far we travel, a part of us... a very important part, will always remain here, on Deep Space Nine." - Benjamin Sisko

Wow, you beat me to it! I was just reading about this article on Memory Alpha! Gosh, so hard to believe this show premiered 20 years ago! I remember reading Avatar, book 1 and 2 and that was celebrating the 10th anniversary! Good times! I wish I had seen Star Trek: Deep Space Nine while it was still on the air. To tell the truth, I think I did...but it was before I was an avid Star Trek fan. I remember being at my friend's place with her older brother flipping through the channels and the Dominion War was on. It had to be at least in '99 so you know the show was still on at the time. I was like, "Woah! Awesome ships!" That really captivated my attention. Long live Deep Space Nine and if you haven't read the relaunch novels, check them out asap! So good! Well, I can only recommend two of them, Avatar 1 and 2 as stated earlier and "Rising Son". Check 'em out!

Have been rewatching the series from start to finish, have just got to the last 10-episode arc. Have to say it never gets old or dated, feels just as fresh and fun to watch as it did when it first aired.

Here's to you DS9!

Am liking the pics Horatio!
