Putting your use of the word probably aside, your opinions on the last film are well known. That's not a guess on my part, it comes from several years worth of reading your posts. It's not meant as an insult, if that's what you mean. You feel the movie had flaws that I don't. And I believe you expect the sequel will be similar to the last film, as do I. But, that probably means different things to you and I.

Oh my Q, that shot of what I'll assume is the Sexyprise rising up out of the water... We might have competition for STXI's gorgeous shot over Titan.

I'm more anxious than ever to know whether or not Mr. Cumberbatch is playing a new and original character, or an adaptation of a certain early TOS friend of Kirk's turned antagonist... because Ms. Blonde Lady in the teaser is sure as heck a dead ringer for Elizabeth Dehner.

If it is Mitchell, and I'm not saying it is, are we going to see the Enterprise go into the Galactic Barrier again? It would almost have to , no? I know they did a comic book remake of that episode set in this universe, but you would have to show it on screen.

Yet the description of the movie says that the Enterprise is called home to deal with this threat. So, that doesn't add up

I'm just saying that the official description of the movie, and what we see in these brief glimpses, doesn't really seem to fit the idea of Mitchell.
