it could mean anything. Space is dark. Or a black hole, or the dark side of a moon or planet. I agree it probably means spiritual darkness, but it could really mean anything.
as to a new board for the new movie, I'm kinda surprised we don't already have a site for it with some advertising. I wonder if there is going to be special assets for webmasters again.

I'm actually the same way, I'm not much for seafood either. I do like smoked Salmon, and some blackened fish but that's about it.

My take so far is that "darkness" will reflect the overall tone of the movie, mainly with the experiences the main characters undergo during their toughest mission yet.

I worry that "Darkness" is just one more foray into the "uber-realism" or "grittiness" that has been all the trend for awhile now. I think it will die out eventually and taste will turn back to something less "real", or pardon the pun . . .
"Dark" Doesn't preclude it from working well, a-la BSG (IMHO), but i fear it may be more script-tripe.
