Yeah, they are going to want a new website to be a total rebranding to represent the movie. The domain name is a part of that branding.

It's started to come back to life a bit. It's just a small handful of us, like here. But there is some posting going on there. And if this place gets the ax, it could serve as a place for our small little band of survivors here. That was it's original purpose in fact.

I think it's nice if every generation/cycle/phase of ST does its own thing, even if it's reflected in something as seemingly inconsequential how they name their movies. It's like they're making a statement. The TOS films did the numbering thing; TNG films did the colon thing. I'm glad they're at least trying to not repeat either formula.

It's still possible though that this is only a temporary title. With no teasers/trailers out yet, they certainly aren't bound by anything.
