Star Trek IN-to Darkness

Star Trek in-TO Darkness

Star Trek INTO Darkness

Or whether the emphasis shoud be somewhere in 'Darkness' somewhere. I want to hear someone say it out loud to find out.

And it avoids the bloody colon. I think Lindelof was onto something when he said the colon embodies everything that turns people off of ST. A colon in the title literally translates as Star Trek: Yet Another Movie.
I'm old school............my automatic reaction is to try and put a colon in there!

True. But I still need time to get to know it. It's kind of not relevant to whether the film is any good or not, but it's not an instant hit with me.

I didn't watch the individual episode promos, I have to say - I just watched the 1987 series promo video and the featurette on the remastering of the series for HD presentation.

I can kind of hear it in my head though.

"Next tiiiiiiiiiiiiiime, on Starrrrrrrrr Trek the NEXT GenerATion!!"
"Data something's got meeeeeeeeeeeeee!!!!!"
"A sinister creature threatens murrrrderrrrrr."
"Please, stop hurting him!"
"And TRAPS Counselor Trooii in a sipwrecked VESsel!"
"ONE OF YOU IS GOING TO DIE."
"Nowwww it's a struggle to stop the alien's savage [powerrrrrr]"
(Is that what you said? Speak clearly for bloody sake!)
"Get them UP! NOW!"
"But ONE of the crewwwww will bid a tragic fareweeeeellllllll, on Starrrrrrr Trek the next GenerATion."
(insert muliple reaction shots: My god, who will it BE?)

Those were the days. Now what made me pick that particular episode? Surely they weren't serious (and then it turned out they were).

My take. This means we will have something akin to a Mirror, Darkly. Explains the unusual uniforms and such.
Looks like Original Spock's misadventures with the RED MATTER may have created more than one alternate timeline.
and…will Scotty finally learn the fate of Admiral Archer's dog Porthos!

The internet domain name has been reportedly secured by Paramount, so they'll either convert this one into the Star Trek Into Darkness forum or just start a new one up from scratch and let this one finally die (one day, it'll just be gone and we'll all be redirected to the new site perhaps).

Can't see a need to change anything aside from updating the look of this forum. Startrekmovie is still pretty much applicable.

To Star Trek XI, but perhaps not to Star Trek XII if Paramount has supposedly secured startrekintodarknessmovie as a new domain name.
