The impact would have liquified everything. It would have been a very destructive event. Coupled with plate tectonics, there would be no scarring today. The Earth is a very active planet geologically. In fact, it's one of the things that makes life possible here.

As androgynous as LG is, I wouldn't be surprised. LOL!

Alas, I do believe that is Poison.

While I loved hair-metal...sometimes, the near-crossover into looking like a chick was just...well...scary!

I have a mate who's into some of those bands and when I see some of the album covers etc it's mind-boggling to look back at some of the looks they had.

Voluminous hair, carrot jeans, the eighties have been bad but that's precisely why they are so good. Movies like Robocop, They live and even Back to the Future to some degree use this very trashiness to work.
In comparison the nineties with their end of history flair are quite stale.
