Is it the same effect as the saying of growing gray hair? Stress ads hormones that make hair grow or color? I don't know, I'm just guessing.

I never heard of that. Well, probably. I have a friend of mine who has been under a lot of stress it seems and I've noticed more and more gray hairs on her head. I'm sure that all can be a factor. But, I don't think staying up at night can make the whole difference. Unless of course you do that every night, all the time.

And sometimes, the gray comes in patches. My beard is very "salt and pepper" these days, and my S.O. is looking very much like Rouge from X-men. Luckily, it makes us both look more distinguished, rather than just plain OLD. LOL

Gray hair usually starts to grow at the temples, which is why this area is called so... latin tempus for time...
