Indeed....tomorrow I'm going to try and get my advanced tickets for TDKR. Man of Steel I haven't heard anything about, so I'm of tempered enthusiasm for anything related to that.

I was pretty lucky with Prometheus. Saw it the opening midnight movie, Imax and 3D. Good crowd.

Avengers I wanted to see opening night, but couldn't because I got called in to sing. So I saw it the next night. Also an enjoyable experience.

I usually prefer to let the crowds die down first. Occasionally I break that pattern for movies I can't wait to see like Star Trek. But for the most part, I like to wait.

It pays to avoid the masses. Of find a niche like the x-files. There were only a dozen people in the theatre when went to see the most recent movie. All of them 40 and over. Nice and quiet!

Yeah, I like when it's an older crowd. They tend to be much more respectful, keeping quiet and phones in pockets and what not.

That one irks me, the phones. Even when you're just texting, the rest of us have to see that bright blue light!!!!

And I don't get it, isn't the point of a movie to escape the real world for a few hours? I leave my phone off and in the car when I go to the movies. The world will still spin without me for 2 hours!

Yeah, I be these people do the same thing at home while watching TV. Can't stand interruptions when I'm watching TV, even when its a DVD playing!
