I don't really want to know anything about the movie. I felt like I knew too much going into the last one. I'm probably going to take a vacation from sites like these once the news starts really flying.

As to the way we're being treated, I don't think it's a problem.

Neither do I. Anyone who can manage to keep the details of a film under wrap this long with today's media has my respect.

I do find it trippy though that we have a mostly-finished film with still no title for it finalized.

Well, when your choosing between:

Star Trek: You Khan-nae be Serious!

Star Trek: I Khan't Believe It's not Khan.

or

Star Trek: Where No Space Seed Has Gone Before.

It probably gets a bit trippy!

Karl Urban released his 'new footage' joke video, but it's not available in Germany thanks to GEMA.

Or most ST fans for that matter?

I guess I missed the part where we're suddenly (once again) back to thinking it's Khan.

What was interesting about that interview is that Orci does confirm that Cumberbatch is a canon character, as well as Eve's. Unless they're lying about it not being Khan or Mitchell, which other human villain from TOS could it be?

But canon from what series? Could they possibly be trying to use a character alive in TOS time that was only referenced in later series (i.e. TNG, DS9, etc.)? Do they consider TAS canon, and if so is it a character from there (bleh)?

Here's hoping the first trailer gives it away.....that would make for a dramatic moment!!!!

The name will give it away. It's all after the colon, i.e. Star Trek:"Insert Wrath of Khan Here"

They're trying not to have a colon in the movie's title.

Which I agree with.

A colon's a given unless they tack Star Trek on the end of the name or as a subtitle under the main title.
