No idea but if he can strangle Spock he is obviously somebody like Khan or Mitchell, i.e. a human with superior powers. Given that the last movie was already a remake of TWOK and NEM which was itself a remake of TWOK I am not really interested in seeing another remake.
Won't stop all the morons from pretending that RemakeTrek is so fresh and new and daring though. |

I also like them for what they are, stupid and tear-jerking action movies.

Yeah am praying for no remake, I don't mind Mitchell being in it but lets not have a copy of WNMHGB, original stories only!

It probably is just me, but I can't help but think that there's no way (even if it was Khan) it really could be a remake. Not in the literal direct sense. Even Star Trek wasn't. Thematically it can't work at all, so he would have to represent something else. And fashion a different story out of it.
I mean, I know in Trek we do deal with repetitive plot elements, themes and very definitely idea rehashes and I know we have done even since the days of TOS and it's umpteen parallel Earth stories, but in terms of a direct remake I still don't quite see it happening that way. May be wrong of course. Nemesis was obviously SO clearly a clone it couldn't hide it if it tried to, but certainly in Star Trek those elements are actually more like the 'B' story of the film and not at the fore of it.

Remember how good Mitchell was in Of Gods And Men? Vulcan was also destroyed and we had a parallel timeline in that film, so this would make sense XD

It's been a while since I saw "Of Gods And Men"...I thought that was Charlie Evans in that, not Gary Mitchell...
