I do rather like the Verhoeven version..................but there's not a lot to tell from that apart from the expected heavy visual effects seeming focus.

On the plus side, I like Kate Beckinsale better than Sharon Stone so there's that.

Oh, don't get me wrong - nothing up with Stone but I tend to go for dark hair or redheads over blonde most of the time. Yet, Michelle Pfieffer is still my top pick even after all these years and the fact she's in her fifties now.

Where was I? Oh Sharon vs Kate - both good, but that long tumbling dark hair and English accent on Kate pips her!

I am TOTALLY on the same page when it comes to redheads. Oh, God, a beautiful red-headed woman just.....well....this is sort of a family rated site, so I'll stop now.

But ANY beautiful woman with a British, Scottish, Irish, Australian, or New Zealander accent....immediate POINGGGG!!! factor there!

I'm trying to remember which actress REALLY got me started on redheads. Good Lord! My faves are Allison Hannigan, Laura Prepon (when she was a redhead on "That 70's Show" ), Molly Ringwald, Gillian Anderson (when she was a redhead in the X-files),
Lindsay Lohan when she was a redhead. (Yes, Lindsay Lohan...before she got all frakked up.)

Gillian Anderson still has it too! And I'm not a fan of Dr Beverly for no reason!

I have to say it was Gates McFadden who started me on redheads............then Gillian Anderson came along. Must be something about sci-fi shows attracts them.

But then a lot of redheads get blonder naturally as they get older I notice. Like Anderson and McFadden. Like how guys with really dark hair when young often go grey earlier and more heavily than mid colour hair.
