It's that time of year! The MLS season starts up again tomorrow with the newest expansion team the Seattle Sounders FC hosting the New York Red Bulls live at 9:00pm ET. A big announcement was made today that will see the Vancouver Whitecaps join the MLS in 2011 making them the second Canadian team in league. Rumor has it Portland, Oregon will also be joining the league in 2011 as there is a MLS press conference set to be held there this Friday. If that's the case the west coast rivalry between Seattle, Portland and Vancouver has the potential to be the stuff of legend. As a TFC supporter I can't wait for March 28th as 1000 plus Canadians will be heading down to Columbus, Ohio to supporter our reds. Here is some info from last year's invasion of Columbus. So here's to another great MLS season and I'll be posting the latest news in this thread through out the year.

Well I didn't think they would work things out so quickly but it's time to start preparing for the season! MLS, players reach agreement in principle on CBA. Maybe I should start planning that away trip to Houston.
