Wow, when I went into GameStop the other day, I noticed they had a copy of Star Trek Online and it was only $7! Man, I wonder why that is? Is it just not doing that well? I remember all the anticipation for that game when it was going to come out and how they delayed it because some game company bought it from another or sold it to another. I forgot the details, but now that it's out, you barely hear anything about it. I'm guessing that's why it's so cheap. I mean, heck next time I get to GameStop I'm going to have to buy it. I mean, what do I have to lose? Money on a latte?

I believe it was jla1987 who had a few threads about this game a little while back. I think they lost a lot of their online players. That's probably why the cost is so low.

Hey thanks! Hehehe! Well, that's a shame about the game losing more of its online players...The Matrix Online lasted at least 5 years.

It's still in service. I bought the collector's edition for 10 bucks last fall, but haven't bothered to install it yet.

I played when the game first came online and it was very poor, especially in the ground combat department. Might be better now, but I still can't justify plopping down 15 bucks for a month of it...

Man, what a shame. I thought this was going to be a hit! I mean, what with all the delays and dates of release being pushed back. Oh, well...sucks.

It will become free to play sometime later this year, so I'll certainly be giving it another try.

I've been playing a bit since the game went Free to Play...and it's still one of the most boring things I've every played. It's such a directionless mess, two years later!
