After the complex Nebula class, I decided to do something a little more primitive and less time intensive.

Presenting the U.S.S. Essex:



It was quite fun figuring out ways to squeeze it all in. I figured that the equipment would be bigger and less compact, so I scaled it accordingly.

Loving these MSDs, I've always liked the Daedalus class and have seen some schematics of them before, think this is my favourite though.

BTW, am loving the snow covered LCARs console on your blog.

Talking about the Daedalus, here they "kick some Romulan a*s" together with some NXs and old DY-100s.
