It would be cool if music could help as a background for your dreams/nightmares. Hehehe!

I know that feeling. I have to have absolute quiet when I go to bed. That irritates my wife because she likes to have her iPod hooked up to the stereo playing quietly when she goes to sleep. I can't do it. Any noise just keeps me awake.

There is no such thing as absolute silence. But I wish there were haha! I mean, unless of course if you're deaf.

Hahahaha! Man, I have to go to work in an hour and a half. Well, at least I got something accomplished today. I washed the car and then had lunch and now going to play some Dead Space before work ...And then hopefully I'll go to sleep like once I get home...which will probably be at like around 1pm. It's tough working until 11 because once you get home you have to get settled..and of course listen to Love Line on KROQ.

Do you have to listen to Love Line? Maybe that's why you find it harder, you stay active once you get in.

I once worked an evening shift for a few months a couple of years ago and would get home around 11, and I always tried to get in bed for not later than about midnight if I could.

It didn't always work, but then I found staying up til 1am/2am wasn't helping either.

If you are simply not tired yet when you wanna go to bed you simply gotta change your rhythm and get up earlier or exercise in the evening to become tired.
If you can't sleep because of stress and problems, well, there is sadly no medicine for that.
