A bit of news that warms this "old-skool" Trekkie's heart: Leonard Nimoy and William Shatner will be making several rare appearances on the convention circuit in 2011 to help promote Star Trek's 45th anniversary.

Yeah, I get that.
And then it will be 50.................it's kinda neat though that after 45 years almost all the main cast are still with us though.
