As for why it's going a bit better here, probably migration from Janeway's, the addition of the peeps here that didn't come over there, and just maybe an uptick of excitement for the next movie.
Yeah I'd agree to be honest. To be fair it's only really Kevin, Horatio, Capt. Tom and myself who post regularly now on Startrekkers, with occasional pop up by Beetle and Jerhanner. Everyone else including Janeway tend to make once-per-week appearances and the odd post here and there. Am not having a go, is just one of those things, people have busy lives and there's not much of a buzz on the forums so these naturally rise and fall.

I guess the fact that there are a few more other people on here who post as well make this place the place we all come to.

Yep, he was the driver here as well until he left here.................then he left Startrekkers under those (still) highly dubious to my mind circumstances for SB's forum.................I have no idea if he's still over there since I didn't follow him.

Alas, I have no cloven feet. It's very upsetting.

He's over at SB's forum (which I joined last summer), but doesn't post too regularly from what I can tell. That forum has certainly benefited from Janeway's loss, as well as this forum's losses. I would assume that he wanted to get away from Janeway's and not split his time, therefore the odd and abrupt departure ensued. He never really told me his reasons, and I didn't press the issue.

Going back to Janeway, what's up with her lately? She's barely on there at all and nothing ever gets done (changing the logo).

He is eccentric but I'm usually at a loss as too why this is an attractive quality. With all do respect to janeways forum...it wasn't very good...It's wasn't bad either but it wasn't enough to get me going there.

A forum is as good as its posters, Janeways has (or has had) a small but solid number of posters without any of the problems that have plagued this forum and there's been a number of good discussions on it and some good banter.

I think its biggest problem is lack of numbers, not a problem when members are posting regularly but when it's top posters (Guardian, Zardoz and Janeway) stop posting it tends to go a bit stagnant, like this place did.
