Lincoln Enterprises (Gene and Majel's ST merchandise company), sold copies of his first draft in the 70's and 80's...
Still have mine. The ship was originally slated to be the SS Yorktown.

I haven't read through all of this yet but what I have is fascinating. I'm sure he had no idea how big it was going to get!

I liked the part about not burdening the show with technical dialogue actually. I dunno, that made me chuckle.

It's ironic about not burdening the show with technical dialogue as the spin-offs proved the opposite.
