The Phaser looked pretty nice but if that was a Tricorder in the other image I didn't like it so much.

I wasn't terribly impressed with that either. It looks too much like somebody just found a bunch of junk lying around and stuck it together to make something in the shape of a phaser. But it does look better than that chrome plated Buck Rogers crap Abrams used in the movie. It's not a good bridge between the ENT Phase Pistol and the Laser sidearm from "The Cage", "The Menagerie", "The Man Trap", "What Are Little Girls Made Of", and "WNMHGB" in my opinion. It looks cheap and cheesy to me.
