Finally got the Polar Lights kit finished. I built it as a combination of 1st pilot, 2nd pilot, and series versions. There were parts of all three that I liked, so I mashed them all together. Waiting for the glue to dry now, and I'll post some pics.

I just love that TOS Enterprise! It's a seriously awesome ship! Hopefully I can get one of those 18" AMT models of the TOS Enterprise and start working on some details and lighting it up. My dream would be to integrate features from Deg3D's and Vektor's versions of the TOS E. I'll post when/if I ever get started.

Hey Zim, I mentioned my DST TOS Enterprise a while back. Did you ever get your hands on one of those? They are beautiful replicas, exquisitely detailed, and they have a feature where you can turn the lights on and leave them on as long as you like. Definitely a must have for any TOS fan. I had planned on using mine for the special effects in a fan film I was planning, before it got taken down by some Klingons.

The only problem with the DST one is the unstable stand. It broke one night and the ship fell - without inertial dampeners or structural integrity!

Not yet. But I'll have one soon. I'm also looking at getting a Hot Wheels TOS E replica. Before long, I'll have so many of them, I won't have enough room
