Now, if you want to hear music that is almost exactly the SAME!!!

2001: A Space Odyssey -- The scene where one of the scientists is running along the Discovery's central ring. I cannot remember who the composer of the film is, but listen to the music during this sequence...

Then, listen to the opening strains of the movie "ALIENS" as composed by James Horner.

When I recently saw Aliens again, it always reminded me of SfS The Klingon theme is everywhere...

Think you are right. The first half of the piece reminds me a lot of Wrath of Khan. Much much slower in the Alien version, but the motivs are very simmilar:

Man I have to watch Aliens again now, but from memory, yeah I could definitely hear the similarities there.

Horner is one of the worst recyclers out there for taking old scores and slotting them into multiple films.
